Armed Robbery at St Marys

THREE men armed with a baseball bat and a sledge hammer robbed a business in St Marys on Friday.

The robbers entered the premises in Queen Street and demanded money at about 1.20am.

They grabbed some cash and left through a rear exit on East Lane.

The three men were described as being of Islander appearance.

One was also described as having tattoos on his arms and wearing a blue balaclava and dark clothing and armed with a baseball bat.

Another was also described as having tattoos on his arms and wearing a green jumper, blue tracksuit pants with white stripes and a balaclava.

The third man was wearing a black balaclava and armed with a sledge hammer.
