THE last time Brian Cadd and Russell Morris took to the Blacktown Workers Club stage they brought the crowd to their feet.
The celebrated pair of Aussie performers, who boast a 40-year friendship, ripped through versions of their hits.
Renditions of Cadd's A Little Ray Of Sunshine and Alvin Purple, and Morris's The Real Thing and Sweet, Sweet Love went down a treat with enthusiastic fans.
The pair will return to the club's Diamond Showroom on Saturday, August 7.
Both of the performers stormed onto the Australian music scene in the 1960s.
As well as being a success in his own right, Cadd's songs have been recorded by artists including Joe Cocker, Ringo Starr, The Pointer Sisters, Bonnie Tyler and Charlie Daniels.
Morris first appeared in Melbourne, fronting the chart-topping pop group Somebodies Image.
Over the years he has lived and worked in the UK and America, as well as maintaining a constant touring schedule on his home turf.
Tickets for the show cost $20 for members and $25 for their guests and are available from the club.
Blacktown Workers Club is in Campbell Street.
