CAMPAIGNERS against domestic violence are reaching out to women and others in need of help on December4 Stop Domestic Violence Day.
On the day, the Outer West Domestic Violence Network will hold community awareness activities in Emerton.
A worker at the Quakers Hill Family Centre, Christa Anthony, said: ``We're having collages in different shapes, like a heart or people holding hands, on which people can write their names in support. We're going to have information telling people which services they can go to.''
Ms Anthony said it was a sad fact that the Blacktown local government area had one of the highest rates of domestic violence in NSW.
Stop Domestic Violence Day activities will be held at Emerton Village Shopping Centre in Jersey Road, from 9am to 11am.
It is supported by Quakers Hill Family Centre, the Blacktown Family Relationships Centre and Mount Druitt's Family Violence and Domestic Violence Court Assistance services.
