Our first Star readers

30 Jun, 2009 10:51 AM
THE Star Reader program for this year kicks off this week.

School pupils review their favourite books and the reviews will be on display at Angus & Robertson at Westfield Mount Druitt.

Each week one review will be published in this paper and one pupil will win a randomly drawn $25 voucher to be spent at Angus & Robertson at Westfield Mount Druitt. The vouchers are donated by Reg Murray Real Estate, of Mount Druitt.

This week's entries were from Rooty Hill Public School. Entrants were: 3S's Jaeda Zlomislic (Travelling Solo to Morocco); year4's Amara Tut (Pearlie and the Christmas Angel); year6's Manuelle Mila (Parvana), who also won the $25 voucher; 3W's Francesco Demasi (The Race); year6's Jacque Takyi (Belonging); and 3S's Zakkiyya Shameem (Fiona The Pig).
