Penrith turn their attention to this Saturday, where first grade will have a tough battle against second-placed Eastern Suburbs at Howell Oval in the first day of play.
Second grade is expected to be a close contest at Waverley Oval, with Penrith going up against an Eastern Suburbs side hoping to keep their finals aspirations alive.
Third grade also have a tough game against third-placed Eastern Suburbs at Cook Park, St Marys, fourths are away at Trumper Park while fifths host at Rance Oval, Werrington.
First, third and fifth grades are out of finals contention while fourths have to win every game and rely on other results to have any hope.
It's a busy time on the representative front, with Josh Lalor in Alice Springs this week to represent NSW in the Imparja Cup, an annual tournament for cricketers of indigenous background.
