Comment on plan
Blacktown Council is encouraging residents to comment on new planning controls through the Draft Blacktown Local Environmental Plan 2013 (BLEP 2013), now on public exhibition.
The plan shows what has been proposed for properties and other places of interest and seeks feedback from residents.
The exhibition will run until Friday, April 19. One of the greatest challenges for the Council is placing 44,000 new dwellings and creating 45,000 jobs by 2036.
