Cancer fund-raiser
DON'T miss the Rock for Brain Cancer concert at St Marys RSL Club on February 9.
The bands lined up for this event are Steve Balbi, Carloua Zepplin, Supertramped, Young Fellas and Fatt Lipp.
All funds raised will go to brain cancer research.

Popular trio returns
The Volatinsky Trio, back by popular demand, will open the 2013 season of the Echo Music Series at Blacktown Arts Centre on Saturday, February 2.
The trio plays original world music laced with the flavours of Russia and the Balkans on a combination of instruments: cimbalom (Russian hammer dulcimer with 78 strings), cello, domra (Russian mandolin) and guitar.
The trio has performed at the National Folk and Fairbridge festivals, Tanks (Cairns), Boite (Melbourne) and Camelot (Sydney).
More recently they have headlined the Canberra Folk and Montreal Music festivals and will later perform at Womadelaide.
Tickets: $20 adult, $15 Friends of BAC/concession, $35 family pass (Group of four).
