Radioactive dumping

The Western Sydney Residents Against Radioactive Dumping action group has joined forces with Lindsay MP David Bradbury in the campaign to collect submissions against the state government's plans to dump radioactive waste at Kemps Creek.

Mr Bradbury has written to residents in the areas most affected by the proposal, urging them to make a submission.

"Residents only have two weeks to make submissions against these plans," said group spokeswoman, Penrith councillor Prue Car.

Residents can make submissions by phoning Mr Bradbury's office on 4732 1801 or contact Western Sydney Residents Against Radioactive Dumping at www.nodumping.org.
