Detectives investigating a spate of alleged break-ins across the Mount Druitt area have charged a teenager with 20 offences.
Operation Focus – consisting of officers, have been investigating a number of residential break and enters within the command in recent months.
Following inquiries and forensic investigations, officers attended a home on Atka Street, Tregear, on Monday (February 18).
A teen, 14, was arrested and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station where he was charged with the following offences:
Eight counts of break, enter and steal
Three counts of aggravated break, enter and steal
Three counts of attempted break, enter and steal
Two counts of take and drive conveyance without consent
Two counts of larceny
Two counts of enter enclosed lands without consent of owner
The teenager was bail refused to appear in Parramatta Children’s Court today today (February 19).
