UPDATED: Man wanted over death in Dunheved

St Marys Police have identified a ''person of interest''  they wish to speak to who may have information about  the death of a factory worker in Dunheved on Thursday.

Gordon Cramp, aged 37, is sought by police  after the body of an employee, 65, was located in the rear yard of Links Road recycling plant Solveco Pty Ltd at around 5.30am on February 21.

Mr Cramp is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, with a thin build and very short, dark hair.

A warrant has been issued for Mr Cramp’s arrest.

Police warn members of the public not to approach Mr Cramp, as he is believed to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who sights him should contact police immediately on triple zero (000).

St Marys Local Area Command and State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad have formed Strike Force Rondelay to investigate the death.

Employees arriving for work found the man's body.

 The St Marys man suffered a stab wound.

A post mortem will be conducted to formally establish the cause of his death

Police conducted a canvass of the area and have spoken to other employees at the factory to shed further light on the man’s death.

Police were still at the crime scene as of Friday.

''Police have been working there all through the night,'' Detective Acting Inspector Mick Bourke told the Star.
