Man charged over murder of Dunheved factory worker

Police have charged a man with the murder of a factory worker in Dunheved last month.

Detectives from St Marys Local police and State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad had been conducting inquiries into the death of 62-year-old Lance Hargreaves at a factory on Links Road, Dunheved, on Thursday, February 21.

Just after 12.30pm, Saturday, March 2, a 37-year-old man – who was wanted by virtue of an arrest warrant – presented himself to officers at Windsor police station.

He was questioned by detectives before being charged with murder and refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday, March 3.

Investigations by Strike Force Rondelay are continuing.
