NOW is a very good time to enter the real estate market, says Richardson & Wrench Rooty Hill sales manager David Frendo (pictured).
It comes after a record-breaking February for the agency with 40 properties sold and 33 listed.
The sales included 11 blocks of land in Rooty Hill.
"It was a great achievement from all of the team," Mr Frendo said.
"The results have motivated everyone in the office.
"Interest rates have dropped in the last two years so investors are coming out to our area because they get a good property for a good price, compared to what they would get closer to the city.
"Instead of paying $600,000 to $700,000, they can get a house here anywhere from $250,000 up to $500,000."
The recent trend is also attracting much interest from first-time homebuyers.
"It's a good time for both buyers and sellers," Mr Frendo said.
"There's a bit more activity with sellers putting their homes on the market.
"There are a lot of homes listed and they're on the market for a shorter period.
"Buyers have more to choose from while sellers have more control."
He encouraged potential buyers to take advantage of the low interest rates before they rise again.
"Now is a good time to buy because of affordability," Mr Frendo said.
