BLACKTOWN Council is inviting residents to a series of free workshops covering worm farming, composting, no-dig gardening, chooks in backyards and natural cleaning.
All workshops, and other sustainability activities such as bushcare, can be found in the 2013 Environmental Sustainability Calendar which is available on the council's website, at the civic centre or by calling 9839 6295.
Worm Farming and Composting:
Set up your own organic recycling station at home by turning food scraps and yard waste into fertiliser and soil conditioner for your garden.
