■ The Native Institute exhibition shows the origins of the institutionalisation of Aboriginal people in Australia.
The exhibition includes artist-provocateur Brook Andrew, Daniel Boyd, Robyn Caughlan, Karla Dickens, Leanne Tobin, Jason Wing and r e a, who have united with the community and historians to create a series of experimental artworks.
The Native Institute exhibition can be seen at Blacktown Arts Centre until September 21. Admission is free.
