Bring the family and a picnic blanket and enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon at the popular Sunday Siestas at The Nepean River at Tench Reserve, Penrith, noon-4pm, Sunday, August 25, and Sunday, September 8.
At this popular location will be free with live music, family activities and market stalls.
Penrith mayor Mark Davies said Tench Reserve was the perfect place to host the Sunday Siestas.
"The river bank will again come alive with entertainment," councillor Davies said.
"I encourage everyone to set aside some time, come on down to the river, bring their picnic blanket, listen to the music and soak up the atmosphere."
There will also be a free Father's Day kids' craft on August 25 and a free kids' spring time craft activities on September 8.
Singer Rose Carleo will perform with her earthy and powerful vocal delivery.
The stalls will change each week and range from boutique pet products, home decorator items, clothing, accessories, stationery plus soft craft and handmade gifts.
Enjoy culinary delights including freshly baked cake slices and cupcakes.
