Two one way signs have been removed from the Tregear shops car park following last week's story in the Star about confusing traffic signals.
A Blacktown Council spokeswoman said the council had received feedback from concerned motorists about the direction of traffic flow in the car park at Tregear Shops.
"The car park aisles are for two-way traffic movement and the council has taken steps to ensure this arrangement is clear," she said.
"Directional arrows are there to reinforce the circulation aisle is for two-way traffic movement and, as a result, council facilitated arrow markings on the road pavement in the car park of Tregear shops on August 6."
