Families enjoyed an afternoon of Sportacular fun at the 10th annual Blacktown City Family SportsFest held at Blacktown International Sportspark, Rooty Hill on Saturday.
More than 1500 sports fans visited the venue to enjoy the 25 interactive sporting displays, which included baseball, softball, AFL, football, cricket, hockey, netball and more.
Clinic hosted by Cricket NSW, International Goalkeeping Academy, AFL and rugby league kept the youngsters out of mischief on day one of the school holidays.
Western Sydney Wanderers FC players Josh Barresi, Nicholas Olsen and Shane D’Chuna were a big hit with the next generation of soccer stars at the Wanderers clinic with NSW Swifts player Samantha May ran the netball clinic.
Maximus Thunder from Big Bash cricket team Sydney Thunder won the mascot race
Surfee Steve and Surfee Sandy from Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope were second place and Lenny the Lion from Blacktown Little Kickers was not far behind in third.
