Paintings for sale
MORE than 100 paintings will be on display over the weekend of October 19-20 at the Nepean Art Society's Spring Exhibition and Sale.
They will include paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and other media - and every one of them is for sale.
It will be a great chance to pick up work by a local artist, many of whom have won awards in shows and exhibitions.
The exhibition is at the society's headquarters, The Studio, in the old Penrith Council building, 129 Henry Street, with entry off Station Street.
Opening hours for the exhibition are 10am to 4pm on both days.
Admission is free.
The society is also raffling a fine acrylic painting donated by Shirley Ayers from Mulgoa.
Tickets can be purchased at the exhibition and the raffle will be drawn at 4pm on the Sunday.
The society holds two exhibitions a year for members - in autumn and in spring.
