EXCITEMENT is growing with the 2013 Mount Druitt-St Marys Local Business Awards presentation evening drawing closer.
The event will be held at St Marys Rugby League Club on Wednesday, October 23.
Precedent Productions managing director Steve Loe said he is looking forward to this year's event.
"The high service standards and dedication to customer service experienced during this year's judging process shows the esteem in which local businesses are held by their community," Mr Loe said.
He said special thanks were owed to major sponsors Nova Employment and support sponsors Westfield Mt Druitt and Remondis Australia.
"Their generous support is integral to the ongoing success of the awards program," Mr Loe said.
"The community too is commended for the outstanding support they have shown for their outstanding local businesses, allowing the hard work of local business people to be recognised in the awards program."
For more than 20 years Nova Employment has been helping local people with disability find and keep employment of their choice, with more than 7000 success stories.
Nova also runs a Transition to Work program that assists school leavers with moderate to high support needs to acquire employment skills to become job-ready for further education.
The master of ceremonies for the presentation evening will be Channel Nine presenter Paul Hancock.
He has been a professional radio presenter, comedian, TV host, voice artist, MC and musician for more than 10 years. Hancock is a segment presenter on Mornings with Sonia Kruger and David Campbell. Official media partner St Marys-Mt Druitt Star is proud to include all finalists for the Mount Druitt-St Marys program in a special finalist feature.
