Goalkeepers get set for battle
The International Goalkeepers Academy is firing up with 'Keeper Wars', a confrontation between goalkeepers who fire balls at one another from 20 metres, placing pressure on the defending keeper.
The tournament is played over six weeks, from this Friday night at Blacktown Sportspark.
Goalkeepers will improve their distribution techniques, reflexes and shot stopping.
The academy is run by former Socceroos goalkeeper Jim Fraser.

Cricket action hits the pitch
The first ball of the Blacktown Sportspark cricket season was bowled a week ago in the Ryobi Cup one day match between Tasmania and Western Australia.
There will be more action at the Rooty Hill venue when the NSW Blues take on Tasmania for a 2013/14 Sheffield Shield four-day match, starting tomorrow.
The NSW Breakers will play Victoria in two T20 matches and a 50-50 limited overs match on November 8-10.
