Shooting in Oakhurst

Police have appealed for information following a shooting in Oakhurst on Tuesday night.

Two men were sitting in a car at Hanna Reserve, at around 9.50pm when a number of shots were fired at the vehicle.

The men drove from the location and alerted police to the incident.

A crime scene was established and Mount Druitt Police have commenced inquiries into the incident.

The men, aged 20 and 21, did not suffer any injuries as a result of the incident but a number of bullets hit the car, causing minor damage.

Police would like to speak to a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 28-years-old, with brown hair and wearing a blue jumper.

He may be travelling in a white Holden Barina hatchback or maroon Ford Falcon.

Inquiries continue.
