IN BRIEF

Giants support appeal

The Greater Western Sydney Giants have teamed up with The Smith Family's Christmas Appeal.

The Smith Family works in 96 communities across Australia, supporting 112,000 children and their families each year.

This year's appeal aims to raise $4 million nationally which will go towards providing learning support and mentoring programs to disadvantaged children and young people.

Club membership will be included in The Smith Family Christmas packs going out to families in western Sydney and the ACT.

Giants players have donated their time to help pack gift bags of toys and books to be delivered to children and their families.
