The kids won't run out of things to do these school holidays with Westfield Mt Druitt providing children with interactive school holiday activities.

Until January 17 there will be a charity petting zoo for kids to meet and feed the animals. There will be a $2 entry fee, and 100 per cent of proceeds will be donated to Westfield Mt Druitt's Giveability charity partner, Lifestart.

Decorate birdhouse

Kids can decorate a wooden birdhouse at Plumpton Marketplace.

Also remember to bring your camera and have a photo taken with Belt from the movie.

Just for kids

Blacktown Arts Centre until January 17, 10am-12.30pm and 1pm-3.30pm.

■ A Drop in the Ocean: Create dramatic, eye-catching artworks.

■ Water Prints: Learn carving and print-making techniques to create a patchwork painting of cool colours and water movement.

■ The Power of Water: Just add water to print marbled creations and design amazing chalk art.

■ Make a Mer-Puppet: Have fun making a mermaid or merman puppet, and decorate these aquatic creatures

Single workshops cost $15 ($12 concession) per child or a full day (two workshops) costs $25* ($20 concession) per person.
