Blacktown Leisure Centre win

They say being in the right place at the right time can have its benefits and local Stanhope Gardens resident, Karol Rosas can attest to that.

Karol was visiting Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope in December and was welcomed into the Centre as the 10 millionth visitor.

Karol was taking her son to his first Little Kickers session - an indoor soccer clinic that promotes children’s health and fitness and is one of the many sports programs available at the Leisure Centre.

As the 10 millionth visitor, Karol received a 12 month Gold Membership to the facility which includes full access to gym and aquatics facilities, a 40 visit crèche (child minding) pass and a term of swimming lessons for her son.

Mayor of Blacktown City, Councillor Len Robinson celebrated the wonderful occasion with Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope staff and Karol in a special ceremony at the Centre.

“It’s great to see a valuable facility such as the Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope reach yet another tremendous milestone. With a vast array of activities and programs on offer, this is truly a great asset for the local community”, Mayor Robinson said.
