Police appeal to public about tow truck fires

St Marys detectives are investigating suspicious fires which resulted in $400,000 damage to three tow trucks in June last year.

About 2.30am on Monday June 10, 2013, a tow truck parked on Meehan Avenue, Hammondville, was destroyed by the fire.

The following day (Tuesday June 11), a tow truck parked on Swamphen Street in Erskine Park was also destroyed by fire.

About 30 minutes later that same day (June 11), a tow truck parked on Mayfair Road in Mulgoa, was similarly destroyed.

Investigators believe that the three fires are linked and are seeking information from the public about any or all of these incidents.

Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to call St Marys detectives on 9677 7543 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
