FOR 30 years Donna Jean's studio has taken pride in teaching and nurturing children who love to dance, sing and perform.
Principal Donna Holmes said the studio catered for toddlers, boys hip hop, adult classes, singing, acrobatics and much more.
"Our toddlers program began because my daughter wanted to dance almost from the time she could walk," Ms Holmes said. "New for 2014 is our Mums and Bubs class, especially designed for two year olds and their parent/carer to enjoy by having fun exploring song and dance, music/percussion and tumbling."
Donna Jean's is a family-run studio where students can have fun, meet new friends, gain confidence and learn to dance with qualified professional teachers.
"We guide children on their dance journey and have many students currently attending Nepean and Newtown Performing Arts high schools," she said. "Many students have gone on to professional careers in the entertainment industry, with success in major musicals on London's West End. We currently have two students in the Australian Ballet School, and students have performed in Disneyland, Disneyworld and New York."
Donna Jean's has won many awards over the past 30 years. Last year students were once again finalists in Sydney Eisteddfod's Dance of the Champions, and were chosen by Channel 10 to film a story on their success.
"I love what I do and have been so privileged to watch children grow and see the positive impact dance has made on their lives," Ms Holmes said. "Our second generation of young dancers and performers are now coming along with their parents who grew up learning at Donna Jean's."
Donna Jean's is enrolling now and will hold an open day on Saturday, February 1 at 2/24 Eddie Road, Minchinbury.
