A big-little win
MULGOA MP Tanya Davies has congratulated Colyton St Clair Little Athletics member Ryan Thomson on his Australian All Schools Athletics Championships gold medal.
Ryan was part of the NSW team that travelled to Townsville for the championships.
He won gold in the under-14 boys three-kilometre walk by eight seconds in humid conditions.
"I was just aiming for a medal and tried to get into a good position early," Ryan said. Ryan, who goes to Emmaus Catholic College, took up the sport three years ago and is coached by Olympian Cheryl Webb.
