Alcohol theft alleged
Three men have been charged with the theft of alcohol worth $700,000 between July and December last year.
They are alleged to have stolen the alcohol from a distribution centre at Eastern Creek.
Detectives believe the thefts were carried out on 13 separate dates with champagne, vodka, scotch, rum, wine and pre-mixers being taken away in a large truck.
Following investigations and a public appeal, detectives arrested and charged a Raby man, 36, with four counts of stealing.
They also charged a 29-year-old manager of a liquor store with receiving stolen liquor.
A 30-year-old Green Valley man was charged with four counts of embezzlement as a clerk, disposing of stolen alcohol, sale of alcohol without a licence, receiving stolen televisions and possessing ammunition.
