A ROOTY Hill agency has been recognised as one of Australia's leading real estate sales offices in a national list of top performing agencies.
Richardson & Wrench Rooty Hill was placed 12th in the 2014 Real Estate Business Top 50 Sales Offices benchmark report, which ranks real estate sales offices across Australia according to a range of 2012/2013 financial year business metrics including sales volumes, sales dollars and numbers of listings.
Richardson & Wrench Rooty Hill sold 219 properties in the 2012/2013 financial year, totalling more than $142 million.
"The ranking provides [an] insight into what the top performing offices do to stay ahead of their competition," REB publisher Tom Sullivan said.
"The goal of this benchmark ranking is to look beyond just sales figures and provide a clearer insight into how these successful businesses operate."
Data collected for the Top 50 ranking included sales numbers, sales volumes, staff numbers and listing numbers, among other information, with research partner RP Data independently verifying the sales data provided by every office.
In isolated instances, where RP Data did not have sufficient data to verify an office's submission, figures were verified by a senior member of the agency or network.
Breaking the results down by state, NSW was on top for a second year with 21 offices. Victoria secured double-digits with 10 offices, while other states making the list included Western Australia (9), Queensland (6), and South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory with two offices each. The Northern Territory and Tasmania were not represented in this year's list.
