Robbery at Mount Druitt

Police have appealed for public assistance following an armed robbery at a Mount Druitt convenience store early Friday morning (May 23).

A man entered the store at Dawson Mall, armed with a broken glass bottle at around 12.40am.

He threatened the male employee and demanded cash.

A male customer pushed the man outside, where the offender struck the man with the bottle causing cuts to his wrist.

The man fled the scene.

The customer was treated by paramedics at the scene

The man has been described as being Caucasian, aged 20–28 years, 175 centimetres tall with a thin build.

He was wearing a white hooded jumper, blue jeans and white shoes.
