A teenager has been charged with firearms offences after a search warrant was executed at a house in Emerton.
Police transport command officers arrested a teenage male, 17, at Parramatta train station over alleged graffiti offences on May 14.
He was charged and given bail to appear at a Children’s Court on June 11.
During his arrest, police seized several items that underwent forensic analysis.
Following further inquiries officers executed a search warrant at a home on Hertz Place at Emerton on Wednesday morning (June 4).
Two firearms, a rifle and shotgun were seized from the home along with an amount of ammunition.
The teenager, 17, and a man, 41, were arrested and taken to Mount Druitt Police Station.
The teen was charged with possession of an unauthorised firearm and possession of an unregistered firearm and was refused bail to appear at a Children’s Court today (June 5).
The older man was released pending further inquiries.
