Apache to sell Wheatstone LNG stake

US independent oil company Apache has decided on a multi-billion dollar sell-up of non-US assets which will see it divest its stake in Chevron’s $29 billion Wheatstone liquefied natural gas project as well as potentially other assets in Western Australia.
