Police are investigating after a dog bit a teenager in St Marys on Sunday
Police responded to reports of a teenager being bitten by a dog at Glossop Street at around 3.35pm.
Officers found a boy, 15, with superficial bite marks to his forearm.
He was taken to Nepean Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Police have been told that the dog ran at the teen while he was on the street.
The owners surrendered the dog to local council rangers.
Investigations into the incident is continuing.
The teenager is the second person in a week to be bitten by a dog after a man's finger was bitten off in St Clair last weekend.
