THE voting period for the 2014 Mount Druitt St Marys Local Business Awards is in full swing. Hundreds of nominations have already been received after an unprecedented response from the community.
Only one week remains to nominate an outstanding local business.
Major sponsors are TrueLocal and Nova Employment, with support sponsors Blacktown Council, Remondis Australia, Vintage FM and BREED Business Centre.
TrueLocal helps Australians find great local businesses, and help great businesses get discovered. They wish all participants the best of luck.
The theme for the 2014 awards program is We're Here For You, which recognises the positive impact local business and communities have on one another.
Local business improves the lives of customers, offering high-quality products and services delivered through superior, personalised customer experience.
The awards are also here for the local businesses, acknowledging and rewarding outstanding efforts.
After the tally of nominations, finalists will be selected for each category based on the number of nominations they receive.
There is no quota of votes required for finalist status; businesses with outstanding vote tallies will progress to the finalist stage.
Similarly, the number of finalists in each category will be determined by the voting response received for the category type.
Voting is a great way to reward special businesses, and anyone submitting a voting coupon will be in the running to win a Sony PlayStation 4.
Votes close on Wednesday, August 27.
