In Mansour, Baghdad, there are IS suicide attacks every day. After making way through six heavily armed checkpoints, Geraghty came to the compound where Iraqi children attend school. It was like an oasis for them. Going to dance and music classes in the morning, the children had a quiet moment before ballet class. The image captured reflects a brief serenity in the lives of youth whose safety is at risk each day, simply by attending school. Having only 20 minutes on the ground, Geraghty photographed the children and then moved on.
