Jersey Boy in Castle Hill
As the story goes, singer Bobby Fox was hand picked by Frankie Valli to play the front man of the Four Seasons. in the smash hit musical Jersey Boys. He went on perform the role more than 750 times and won many awards. Music writer Bob Gaudio described him as "a real star".
Fox will be performing songs from his new album The Fantastic Mr Fox and hits from Jersey Boys at the Castle Hill RSL on March 21 at 8.30pm. Tickets: $30.

Movie screening
Pop Up Parramatta brings the opportunity to share and enjoy your favourite cult, anime and Australian movies with special creative talks, organised by Pop Up project Shh Centre for Hybrid Arts.
The science fiction action film The Fifth Element will be screened on Friday, March 6 at 9 Albert Street, North Parramatta at 8pm. Donation at the door.

Portrait exhibition
The Doug Moran National Portrait Prize is on exhibition at Blacktown Arts Centre from Thursday, February 26 until Wednesday, March 18.
The exhibition has encouraged excellence and creativity in contemporary Australian portraiture for the past 26 years.
The display also includes selected works from the Moran Contemporary Photographie Prize, which interprets contemporary life in Australia with an emphasis on day to day life.
It's open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-5pm.
