Crashing a wedding is normally taboo - unless you are an international superstar.
When Sydney couple Matt and Kya Debono decided on an Ed Sheeran number for their first dance, they were expecting to execute their moves with a recording, or cover version.
Instead, the man himself rocked up with his guitar to perform Thinking Out Loud.
 
"Happy wedding day," Sheeran said to the shocked couple at The Waterfront Function Centre in Sans Souci.
Their guests looked on amid tears and disbelief as the newlyweds danced.
The surprise was organised by radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O, who attended the celebrations, after the couple won an $80,000 dream wedding a month ago on their show.
Sheeran is on tour in Australia and is the first musician in 20 years to undertake a headline national arena tour completely solo.
The only instruments on stage are a loop pedal and his acoustic guitar.
The British singer-songwriter is from West Yorkshire but moved to London in 2008 to pursue his career.
Since then he has recorded No.1 singles and won a Brit award for his album x.
After performing he had some parting words for the Debonos: "Make lots of babies".
