Police will allege that the 42-year-old man arresetd today at Hurstville in relation to Hayden Burnes' murder was driving the car seen at the scene of the crime.
Detective Superintendent Michael Willing said he expected the accused would be charged in relation to the murder later today.
"We will be alleging that the man arrested today was the person driving the vehicle before and after Hayden's death," he said.
Police arrested the 42-year-old man earlier this year at The Entrance but released him. A 36-year-old man was arrested last month and is before the courts.
A car was seized by investigators in May and police will now allege it was the vehicle used in the murder.
Detective Superintendent Willing said at this point we have no information to suggest the two accused men had any links to bikie gangs.
He said police would be on guard when the accused men faced court after Hayden's father and his Lone Wolf bikie associates appeared at court for the last matter and created a scene.
"Obviously its a very emotional and emotion-charged issue but we can't walk away from the fact that a 15-year-old boy lost his life," he said.
