There was fun for all during the recent Australian Music Week, three-day event in Sutherland Shire.
There was also a more serious side with a conference which included a panel, masterclass and networking sessions at Cronulla RSL and lead by some of the most successful and influential people in the business.
Topics included getting a start; what publicists, booking agents and publishers do, how to manage artists and self-management.
Visitors could stroll about the many live gigs in cafes and venues around Cronulla and the finale, HiFi Days festival was a big hit with UB40 headlining.
Leader photographer Jane Dyson was there to cover many of the events, meet some artists and music-lovers and capture the mood photographically.
