Pot plants and glass bottles were thrown during a violent neighbourhood dispute that left three people in hospital in Sydney's south overnight, police say.
Neighbours called emergency services after hearing glass shattering and seeing a group of up to seven people fighting on Walker Avenue in Peakhurst just after 10pm on Wednesday.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said it was not immediately clear what triggered Wednesday night's fight, but witnesses said there had been simmering tensions between two families on the street for a while.

Police arrived on Walker Avenue to find four people had been injured when pot plants and bottles were thrown during the fight.
Three people from one family - a 16-year-old boy, 22-year-old man and 50-year-old woman - were taken to St George Hospital, police said.
One of the males had a cut to his head, while the second male had a cut to his wrist, a NSW Police spokeswoman said.
The woman, who is believed to have had a cut to her arm, was admitted to hospital for further treatment, police said. The males were treated and released later in the night.
Police said a 37-year-old woman from another family was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Detectives have spoken to a number of people involved in the fight, as well as witnesses.
No charges have been laid, but detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
