TOUGH bikies with big hearts drove to Minchinbury on Saturday.
Around 120 revved up motorcyclists met at The Wots Den for Ride With Your Heart, a 35-kilometre convoy up to Springwood and down Windsor to raise funds for youngster Levi McCormack, 8, who was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome.
Even former local fund-raising motorcyclist Tex O'Grady and his famous cattle dog Bundy rode down from Nambucca Heads to take part on the day.
Riders were greeted at Windsor Pie Shop by Levi and his family.
Kathy Nikolaou, the wife of organiser Benny, said the ride was extremely successful.
"The highlight for him (Benny) was seeing the smiles on Levi's face when they arrived," she said.
"His family were extremely overwhelmed and appreciative."
Mr Nikolaou thanked Mick Explorer, Betty Parker from Windsor Pie Shop and everyone who worked behind the scenes on the day.
The McCormacks are grateful for the support.
"Was certainly awesome seeing them all ride into the pie stop . . . they just kept coming . . . and coming," his family wrote on the We Heart Levi McCormack Facebook page.
"Was most definitely a spectacular day, and many great memories were created."
