Voices of hope

Simply Voices will bring music to your ears at the annual charity concert to raise money for the Blacktown City Cancer Council Relay for Life.

The choir will perform Australian tunes, 2pm-4.30pm, at the Rooty Hill School of Arts Hall, Rooty Hill Road South, this Saturday, October 6.

Now in its fifth year, the choir has a permanent musical director and a membership of 40 men and women who meet weekly for rehearsal.

Admission is $10 and donated towards Relay for Life, to be held October 27-28 at Blacktown International Sportspark's Athletics Centre.

Help to find work

Skilling and Employment will hold a free job-seeker workshop on Thursday, October 4, 10am-noon, at 51 Phillip Street, St Marys.

Job-seekers will have access to free facilities available after initial appointment including internet access to job search sites, fax, photocopier and telephones, newspapers, help with resume preparation and job applications and information regarding local training courses.

Circus experience

To celebrate the launch of the latest Madagascar adventure, Europe's Most Wanted, join your favourite characters from Madagascar 3 live at Westfield Mount Druitt for a circus experience like no other.

Youngsters will love joining in the fun of tricks, tomfoolery and gimmicks led by two mischievous circus clowns.

The free event is at centre court at Westfield Mt Druitt until Friday,October 5.

It's on at 11am and 1pm daily plus a meet-and-greet at noon.
