ILVE introduces its newest state-of-the-art i-hood 90 centimetre rangehood designed to become your next i-pod and i-pad docking station.
The slim, modern design i-hood, with sleek AS304 stainless steel construction, ensures you can do away with the need for bulky docking stations, speakers and cables taking up usable and valuable bench space.
Marketing manager of ILVE Daniel Bertuccio said it was about creating convenience for their customers.
‘‘We came up with the design after thinking what do people use or have.We thought, well everyone has an iPhone or iPad and we have already combined a TV with a rangehood. So we thought, why not combine cooking with music,’’ Mr Bertuccio said. ‘‘With the i-hood, you can listen to music, stream the radio or find your favourite cooking recipes online.’’
I-hood is built to professional cooker hood standards and suitable for all ILVE cooktops.
With built-in speakers and wireless bluetooth connectivity, the i-hood also includes double turbine fan, low decibel rating and 1200m3/h net air extraction.
ILVE rangehoods provide an essential function for open-plan kitchens by removing grease, steam, smoke, and cooking odours from the air.
Mr Bertuccio said the i-hood was perfect for an energy boost.
‘‘It won’t make you cook faster but it could have you feeling more energetic after a long day at work,’’ he said.
The newest i-hood rangehood will be unveiled at Grand Designs LIVE in Sydney on Friday, October 5.
