The AFL has announced price changes for some finals tickets, with cuts for entry level ticket prices in the first three weeks and rises in other categories.
Grand final ticket prices will rise in all categories except entry level and premium tickets and there will be some price rises in other categories in weeks one to three of the finals.
Fans will be able to purchase $35 tickets in the lowest categories in weeks one and two of the finals, all around the country.
In previous years, fans have paid $40 at the MCG, $40 at the Adelaide Oval, $45 at ANZ Stadium and $48 at Domain Stadium, for tickets in the same price category.
Entry level prices for preliminary finals have been reduced to $65.
Though grand final ticket prices have risen slightly in some cases, lowest price category tickets will still be available for $180, and the premium price category tickets will still cost $399.
AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan said the costs of staging finals continued to rise.
"We hope the impact of increasing the price of some ticketing categories is minimised with a significantly lower national entry-level price," he said.
"For the past two seasons we have elected to keep all prices on hold at 2013 levels, and our commitment to affordability continues with the introduction of a reduced entry level ticket in weeks one-three.
"We believe the price of all seating categories represents excellent value and we expect fans to vote with their feet with and be part of one of the most open finals series in recent memory."
