THIS Friday, October 7, is Hat Day for Mental Health – one of the many events taking place this Mental Health Month.
Hat Day, an initiative of Australian Rotary Health, encourages members of the community to wear a hat and host an event to open up the discussion on mental health.
Local businesses, community groups, sports teams, or even friends and family can get together to hold a Hat Day event by registering on the Hat Day website.
You may also bump into Rotarians at selected train stations across Sydney who will be selling merchandise and collecting donations.

When is it?
Hat Day for Mental Health takes place on Friday October 7.
Where is it?
Events will be held at various local businesses and community groups. Rotarians will be selling merchandise and collecting donations at Sydney train stations including but not limited to:
- Town Hall
- Central
- Parramatta
- Penrith
- Epping
- Gosford
