WHO would have thought cupcakes, slices and a raffle could raise $ 1500?
Professionals Real Estate were out and about in St Marys on Monday, October 22, raising money for The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The women from the St Marys Professionals cooked up a storm making cupcakes, slices and biscuits for this great cause.
The week before they delivered, faxed and emailed businesses, family and friends an order sheet so they could pre order their treats and on the day. Numerous orders had to be filled.
However, they didn't stop there.
The next day they walked Queen Street selling door to door until everything was gone.
Terry Hansen, of The Professionals Group said: "We have raised more than $2 million for breast cancer.
"It is our commitment to make a donation with every home sold throughout the year and days like our cupcake day and sale of NBCF merchandise go towards this fantastic effort."
