Police have charged a woman for breaching bail conditions following a stabbing in Whalan.
It’s alleged the woman, 23, and a group of men arrived at a home on Gasmata Crescent about 9.30pm on Saturday, April 15.
The group allegedly confronted the home owner, a 39-year-old man, which resulted with him being stabbed in the chest.
As the man stumbled down nearby Luxford Road in search of aid, police allege the woman tackled him to the ground.
Mount Druitt police were called soon after and the woman, who police say was known to the man, was arrested. Any possible motive for the attack has not yet been revealed by police.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Westmead Hospital.
The woman was refused bail to appear before Mount Druitt Local Court on April 17.
