CAMP THUNDER: Is a junior cricket workshop offering a high energy, entry level program using games-based activities to ensure your child has a wonderful time learning to play like their T20 heroes. It’s at Howell Oval, Station Street, Penrith on Thursday and Friday, April 20 and 21 from 9am-1pm each day. The program is recommended for those aged 8-10. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Benevolent Society in Penrith needs volunteers from the St Marys area to help their senior clients with social outings, doctor’s appointments and transport. If you are interested you can contact Lorraine Donato on 4720 1000.

EXPLORE HISTORY: The Friends of St Bartholomew’s will hold their annual Back to St Bartholomew’s Day on Saturday, April 29, 9am-3pm, at historic St Bartholomew’s Church, Ponds Road, Prospect. There will be a town crier, NSW Marine Corp drills, variety stalls, historic exhibitions and talks, self-guided cemetery tours, demonstrations of conservation work, musicians, a sausage sizzle, coffee cart and much more.
