Winning multiple awards for ‘The Best Tribute Show’ is testimony to Desperado – The Eagles Show.

The group has many accolades to their name including the ‘MO Award’ and the ‘ACE Award’ this year and last year for The Best Tribute Show.

Desperado comprises of six talented musicians and, together they celebrate and reproduce the music of one of the best bands of all time.

Next month they will bring the best of the Eagles to Rooty Hill RSL.

Drummer Jason Rodziewicz said the band has been together for the past nine years with most the members having known each other since school.

“The show was created to fill that void left by one of the most prolific bands of all times,” he said.

The audience can expect to hear all their favourite hits, such as Hotel California and Life In The Fast Lane, as well as a few of the more lesser known songs the die-hard fans will love like Last Resort and Wasted Time.

“Attendees can expect audience participation and a great night of classic songs by the Eagles,” Rodziewicz said.

“Everyone loves Hotel California – especially the classic guitar solo, so that will be one of the highlights of the night.

“We don’t want to change something that’s perfect, so we don’t change the songs, however we do add some tasteful personal touches to some of the songs, which people find interesting.”

Take It To The Limit and The Last Resort are my two favourites to perform,” he said.

“Due to enjoying the exceptional talent of our lead vocalist, Mark Anthony, these two songs are just awesome!”
