A man was rushed to Nepean Hospital this morning after being pulled from a burning home in North St Marys.
The man, 39, had sustained burns and was suffering from smoke inhalation when found by firefighters at the house on Magnolia Street about 8.45am.
He was taken to hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics in a serious but stable condition.
Crews from Dunheved, Ropes Crossing, St Marys and Mount Druitt fire stations were able to bring the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Fire ripped through about 50 per cent of the home, which was said to be derelict.
